Okay a few weeks back i posted a thread about the starting of my truck, and well it turned out to be the starter, so now that it is fixed my truck turns over for a miniumum of 5 secs before it starts up, befrore i had the motor rebuilt, it started within 1-2 seconds, what would cause this, i have put in a new battery, battery cables, starter, plugs, and wires, what should i do now to get it to start up like it used to?

Just a wild guess, but maybe something to do with the fuel system, i.e. fuel filter or pump or maybe the cap and rotor for the ignition.

its shouldnt need that, just for the reason the motor is brand new, iv only got around 1500 miles on it now, surely that is not the problem
