What are the pros and cons of a throttle body spacer? I've heard pretty much all good things about them but there's always the few people that say they don't help at all.. Is a tbs even worth getting? If so anywhere I can find a cheap one? Thanks all!

Thank you! Just looking for a little more power! My instructors have steered me away but everyone I know swears by them. Don't know who to believe!

I run them on both of my dodges, and i believe theres a difference in upper rpms. Seems to pull better. Only real way wold be to find out for yourself. Try ebay. Just look for a brand name like Airraid/Poweraid.

Thanks Jeff! I've been really considering it and if I can find one for the right price I'll jump on it. So many different answers I guess I am just going to have to take a shot in the dark on this one.. Thanks again!

not sure how much they help. all the manufacturers say they do. i've sold a couple of different brands. everyone else says no. i have one on mine. they don't hurt anything. the only benefit i can say i am getting is my air cleaner is up closer to the cowl induction scoop on my hood, so i might be getting slightly better flow from that.

i had one on my 4.7. i didnt notice any difference but i doubt you would notice 6hp or whatever they claim. i upgrade to a 70mm tb and when i removed the stock tb and spacer i measured them. the inner bore of my stock tb was 65mm, the inner bore of the spacer was 60mm. in my opinion dont waste your money. i wish i didnt, its just sitting in my basement. i cant give that shit away.
