Whats up guys? I know its been a while since ive spoken about my upgrade on the V6, Like anything thats new we had to work the bugs out of it, but we seem to be in good shape now. At this point Im running A mild 6 pounds of boost, Chris (the installer) at P.I.E. said I could take it up to 8 with out a problem. If you go to members albums under Tony you will find new pictures of my upgrades and the dyno sheets, stock and turboed. If I decide to go up to 8 pounds of boost I could pull close to 250hp. I can gladly say I no longer have problems climbing hills with my truck.

Been researching dropping a 5.7L Hemi in my gen 2 Dak. Have looked at other swap/upgrade options as well. In talking to a highly respected Hemi tuner, I looked at boosting my 3.7L V6. He seemed to think it wouldn't be difficult but warned that I might burn a (non-forged) piston as a result. Certainly a thought for consideration!

This is not a cheap set up 4800 for everything, and the more popular it gets the price will no doubt rise. I saved up for 2 years to have this done because I didnt want to do the typical engine swap. I have already talked to my installer about pushing the boost to 10lbs. next summer. He will have to change the head gaskets and studs, possible beef up tranny but at 10lbs Ill be pushing 290hp to the rear wheels. I got just what I wanted out of the kit, a unique truck that sounds great plus I have the added power!

I know this an old thread but what fuel management did you use for the Turbo?
PROBably SCT..
using the SCT and adding slightly bigger injectors (or stock would work up to a certain point) you can make the truck run perfectly fun with boost and the stock fuel setup.

it's all in the tuning pretty much
