Okay I've been trying to figre this one out. Does anyone know how to make the side light a blinker? I want to make the side light a blinker and the original turn signal lights just light up (that's all). Anyone know how to do this?

tried that already. I took it aprat and I found that the turn signal lights have 3 wires and the side one has just two.

I'm thinking of just taking a turn signal dealie from like a Honda or something and then rewire the original turn signals to just two wires. I hope all of this is possible., I don't want to blow myself up. B) ?!

you only need to switch one wire....the power on the side marker and the turn signal wire on the turn signal...i believe

didn't work, all I got was one fast ass clicking turn light and one that didn't light up at all.

so I went ahead and jacked the turn signals from an Acura, just need to get my new lenses and drill in some holes.

no they didn't work out at all. Te wiring was completely different from my Dakota's. I'm going to talk to my cousin a little more to see if he knows about using relays.

yo the most you can do with that is take the hot wire off the 194 bulb thats constant and the cut power for the blinker hot from both of the 3157 conectors that will make it so that you have the 194 only blink and the 3157 will only stay constant the only down fall is the blinker will blink fast but alll you have to do with that is go to radio shack and get some resistors and put them in line with the 194 hot you just created from the 3157 its pretty easy should take no longer than an hour i did it to mine but i kept gettin pulled over for not usin my blinker cuz its not too bright
