i just did it last weekend. personally i wouldnt do it unless your getting your parts really cheap. but i did notice some pick up at the higher rpms. and i was wondering the same thing about the v8 injectors.
word up lol i def jumped the gun on my reply stating that i didnt feel much of a difference,, i posted that the day that i swapped the tb and after running it a couple of days i can def feel more pull:) BUT.....im having a very strange problem,,, with the motor not running my throttle works smooth a $h!t but when i start my truck it it seems as if the throttle is on some kind of a bind?? its hard to explain but when i first hit the gas the petal doesnt seem to want to move freely causing very bad jerking while shifting,,, since ity only does this while the truck is running im "thinking" it is vaccum related??i went as far as taking all the connectors "vaccum and electrical" off of my v6 tb and swapped them onto the v8 one i installed and SHAZAAAM same effin problem:( annd i am stummped i love the way my truck is ruuning now but if i cant figure this lil problem out then im going to have to swap the v6 tb back on and i hate to do so after finding such a beautfiul tb for $30 any help is GREATLY appreciated

V8 TB on V6 nightmare

Have yours ported the cable connections are different and you'll never be able to get the trans cable adjusted right. Its a headache and a half. If you have a manual then its not an issue. I got tired of messing with it and just sent mine off. Dont go bigger than 50mm and you'll be good. There is a guy on ebay that did mine just waiting to get it back. Just make sure you can do without for a couple weeks
