I am having a hard time figuring out the rear links. I looked under and the gas tank is in the way so I can't run a triangulated 4 link. I guess I could run a parralell but I want to have the bags on the links. So my question is, would a three link work? How would I set it up? What about a three link with the upper link in a wishbone set up which would be on the right side of the axle and then a pan hard par on the other side? Any thoughts?

I had my 4 link custom fabricated at a local shop.My lower bars run fwd parallel to each other with bags off them and my rear bars are reverse triangulated.still have stock gas tank location, just had to remove my spare.Over 12" of lift. Also had to notch gas tank crossmember and rear cab floor for driveshaft clearance. :)

If you made a 3 link that would work. They use them on s-10's alot. Look at the air ride tech kit for the s-10. Something like that you you should be good to go. If you do a 3 link wishbone style you dont need a panhard bar. Since there are 4 pivot points on the axle it will keep your axle strait

No, you dont use shackles. You mount it the same as you would for a forward 4 link. I was thinking last night....... and im gonna turn my 4 link into a 6 link so i can get the bags on the bars. Gonna take a lil work but i think it will be worth it in the end. Dont know when im gonna start on it but hopefully soon. Late

No, you weld brackets like a regular all forward 4 link. 2 bars on bottom and 2 on top still. Honestly that is not the greatest way to run your link. Some people will swear by them working fine. But i know ALOT more people will be against them just because of the way it rotates the axle. Think bout how the bars pull the axle. When you lay out it twist your axle so your pinion angle goes more up when it should be going down , if you get what i mean by that... Just when the axle would be better twisting one way, a 2 bar forward 2 bar reverse twists it the opposite way.
