What is the max you can z your frame before you have to cut the transmission hump in the floor. I don't want to cut the floor but I want to get as low as I can.

I know how to z a frame but I don't know how much is to much before I have to cut the floor.

Shit i hope he put some extra metal over the ends to keep water out and to add to the support so his frame dont bend.And uneek i think ur gonna have to chop the frame and lay it out to figure that out.

ya i z'd mine like 4 inches its a bitch just to let you know
i had to build a two piece drive shaft so i wouldnt have to cut the cab and a tranny crossmember

I'm a total newbie w/ cutting frame to body drop trucks. I mustly have done air suspension,drop coils, and coil overs. And seen that pic kinda scares me.
Is that safe?!
Yeah you can probably reinforce it w/ metal but still, wouldn't the metal loose its integrity?!

i had to cut the tranny hump all the way up to the heater core........under the dash sucks balls....that was just the stitch that was used to keep it held there while i made the caps and plates.
